Calculation Steps:
  • Husband gets the prescribed share of 1/2 (Rule 1a).
  • Mother gets the prescribed share of 1/6 (Rule 6b).
  • Maternal Siblings gets the prescribed share of 1/3 (Rule 12b).
  • Maternal Brothers gets 1/6 & Maternal Sisters gets 1/6 - the ratio 1:1 (Rule 33).
  • Full Brothers (Share of 0/6) is receving less than Maternal Brothers (Share of 1/3). Need to recalculate their shares (Rule 22).
