Calculation Steps:
  • Mother gets the prescribed share of 1/6 (Rule 6b).
  • Maternal Brother gets the prescribed share of 1/6 (Rule 12a).
  • Distribute the remaining shares according to relative priority (Rule 14)
  • PaternalBrother is the only heir remaining receiving share of 2/3 (Rule 14).
